The symbolism of the logo of the Litany to the Most Holy Thought of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The foundation of the logo of this Litany is the sign X, the Greek letter Chi (X). In Greek, the name Christ is written as Χριστός (Christos). This sign also recalls the ancient symbol of the so-called orant — a person praying with raised hands, that is, someone imploring and praising God within the realities in which he has been called to exist. In this logo, this idea is subtly suggested through the addition of foot-like shapes.
This association is strengthened by the added circle symbolizing the head of the most perfect Orant, who for Christians will always remain Mary. Above this head we see something resembling the letter “m”, which in this case suggests the inspirations of the Holy Spirit, who comes to assist us during our meditations on the mindset of the Lord Jesus. The entire composition is crowned with the sign of the cross, that is, the Holy Trinity, because the thinking of Christ was one hundred percent Trinitarian and focused on fulfilling the will of the Father, who so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (cf. John 3:16).
Equally important in this logo is its proper color symbolism. The X sign is presented in green, symbolizing Christ — the true Hope of humanity. The base of the X is colored black to express that each of us who prays is aware that we are still on a journey in which we must often struggle with what is impure or even sinful. The head should be marked in blue, a color traditionally associated with the Immaculate Virgin as the most perfect model of a person who thinks and acts according to the intention of the Lord Jesus. The “m” sign is best represented in gold, for this reflects the action of the Holy Spirit, who enlightens and leads to sanctification. The cross, meanwhile, is red — the color of love, suffering, and the redemptive sacrifice of Christ.
